About Us
The Missouri Valley Quilt Guild was established in 1986 in Bismarck, North Dakota to promote, preserve, educate about, and expand the art of quilt-making.
The guild is a 501(c)(7) non-profit organization.
Meetings are the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM, except July, October and December. There are no meeting in July. The annual picnic is in August. October is typically held on an alternate date and is an “all-night” sewing event. The annual Christmas party is held in December. We meet at the House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 1470 S. Washington St., Bismarck. Guests and new members are welcomed and encouraged to join us.
Annual dues at $20 and are due by October of each year. Members receive a monthly newsletter and discounts to local sewing shops.

The well-being and longevity of our guild comes from our volunteer executive and members at large. We appreciate all you do to keep this guild and its many activities and community outreach programs going. Without this leadership team, this guild would not continue to be active.

Community Outreach
Warm Start: This project provides layette sets (quilt, receiving blanket and sleeper) to both Bismarck hospitals for families in need and ICU babies in need.
Dress an Angel Project: This project provides garments for babies (angels) that die in the hospital.
Designer Genes: This project consists of quilts made with an angel on them or they have an angel theme. The quilts are given to new parents of a child with Down Syndrome.
